Corn Earworm
A cold front is expected to pass through the central and eastern corn-growing region this weekend. East of this front, south to southwest winds are likely and may pose an isolated corn earworm moth migration risk especially along/east of the I-35 corridor tonight into tomorrow, and then primarily east of the I-55 corridor from southeast Missouri into eastern Illinois tomorrow night into Sunday. Growers with crops still at susceptible stages to damage, especially processors and fresh market growers, are encouraged to continue trapping and scouting efforts until harvest. Little to no additional migration risk is predicted after Sunday into early next week.
