Black cutworm migration risks return to the forecast Saturday into Sunday as a quick-moving but somewhat weak weather system moves across the corn-growing region. A period of south to southwest winds is likely ahead of a weak cool front especially from eastern Kansas, Missouri, eastern Iowa, and points east. Low migration risks are predicted from these areas east and as far north as southern Wisconsin and lower Michigan, as well. Little, if any, additional risks are predicted at this time outside of this time period.
