Western bean cutworm risks remain in place across the eastern Great Lakes region where moth captures continue and also where some fields may still be at susceptible stages to damage. Moderate risks remain in place across southeast Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada through this week where counts appear to be the highest and also where crops would be at the greatest risk. Low risks are in place from western and central lower Michigan east into southern Ontario and Quebec, Canada. Growers especially located in southeast Canada should continue to monitor for this insect especially in the next week as the flight continues to subside.
