Corn Earworm
A relatively benign and unfavorable weather pattern for corn earworm migration is predicted the next 3-4 days before a potential change in the weather pattern by late in the weekend and early next week. Low corn earworm migration risks associated with mainly light southerly winds is predicted through the Day 1 period from central and southern Kansas into western Missouri. No risk of migration is predicted on Day 2.
By Days 3-5, the overall weather pattern transitions from predominantly northwest to southwest, and corn earworm migration risks are expected to increase by the end of the period. For the moment, Low risks are in place from Kansas to as far east as the Illinois-Indiana border by Day 5 mainly south of US 36/136.
