Insect Alert For
Corn Earworm
Affected Area:
Alert Details
While some isolated corn earworm moth flights may occur into portions of the corn-growing region in the next several days, there is little to no threat to any crops at this time given the time of year and early growth stages. Host plants in the mid-south and southern states source regions are much more attractive to corn earworms right now, so any flights should be isolated and generally minimal in population.
