As the overall weather pattern transitions into a predominantly northwest flow, corn earworm migration risks will be very limited until potentially Friday and Saturday nights when the next weather system rolls east into the Plains.  Even then, the quick duration of the system and resultant limited period of period of southerly winds blowing north from active source regions is expected.  Thus, only Low corn earworm migration risks are predicted across the southern Midwest and mid-south at this time.
