Low soybean aphid risks are in the forecast across more advanced fields in eastern South Dakota, northeast Nebraska, northern Iowa, Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and far northwest Illinois. Growers with earlier-planted soybeans that are into the blooming stage now should begin regular scouting to determine local soybean aphid field populations especially if located in or near an area that soybean aphids have historically been an issue or where local observations are indicating soybean aphid populations are present.
