Western Bean Cutworm
The annual western bean cutworm moth flight has subsided in most areas, but some lingering issues may remain for another week from portions of lower Michigan east into southeastern Canada where Low risks remain for the balance of this week. Growers with late-planted crops should continue scouting efforts as those crops would be those most attractive to any late-season moth and egg laying activity that may still be lingering. Overall, however, the threat from this particular insect has passed for this growing season in the majority of the area.
