Western bean cutworm reports continue to increase or peak especially from Wisconsin east into the Great Lakes region and Ontario, Canada as heat unit accumulations continue to reach and exceed critical emergence percentages and crop stages become more favorable hosting sites. High risks continue through the period from South Dakota through Minnesota, Wisconsin, and east into the Great Lakes region as well as much of southern Ontario, Canada. Risk areas to the south continue to be reduced and eliminated as the peak flight has passed in these areas.
