The primary western bean cutworm risk area resides across portions of Ontario and Quebec, Canada as the peak flight is nearing completion and counts are already starting to decline at many locations in this region. A few higher counts and field reports continue to indicate mainly lighter pressure from central Wisconsin east into Michigan, but the main focus now is across Canada. Expect continued reductions in both risk area and levels in the next week.
