Western Bean Cutworm
Western bean cutworm risks continue to decrease across much of the corn-growing regions of the United States and Canada as this one generation per growing season insect completes its development/emergence cycle. Highest risks remain across Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada but even in fields in this area, counts should be on the decrease and any problems becoming more sporadic. Across the United States, moth counts from traps remain across portions of the Great Lakes region but numbers are low where moths are being caught and are on the decline.
